# Delhi Beefs Up Security, Barricades Ahead of Cockroach Party March
Security has been significantly tightened across New Delhi in anticipation of the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) highly publicized 'Demand for PM's Resignation' march scheduled for July 20.
Delhi Police have erected multi-layer barricades at key intersections, particularly those leading toward Jantar Mantar and the Parliament building. Intensive vehicle checks are being conducted at all major borders, causing significant traffic delays.
The CJP, a youth-led movement demanding major educational reforms and the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, has called for thousands of supporters to converge on the capital. Despite police warnings, CJP leaders insist the march will be peaceful and democratic.
