CJP Official Party Launch: Voice of the Lazy and Unemployed

"They tried to step on us. We came back."
This is the defiant message echoing from the headquarters of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) as it officially launches Volume 1, Edition 1 of its national campaign. Established as "the voice of the lazy and unemployed," the satirical political front is positioning itself as a platform for the people the traditional political system forgot to count. With zero corporate sponsors and one large, stubborn digital swarm, the movement is gathering unprecedented momentum across India's youth communities.
OUR MOVEMENT'S VISION AND MISSION
The CJP's mission is clear, blunt, and written with sharp satirical precision. "We are not here to set up another PM CARES, holiday in Davos on the taxpayer's salary slip, or rebrand corruption as 'strategic spending.' We are here to ask — loudly, repeatedly, in writing — where the money went."
The movement aims to build a solid political counter-weight for the young people who keep getting called lazy, chronically online, and most recently, cockroaches. While structured as a high-stakes parody, the demands represent deep-seated grievances about judicial independence, media freedom, electoral turncoats, and student rights.
THE FIVE DEMANDS: THE CJP MANIFESTO
At the absolute center of the launch is the official five-point manifesto, outlining radical reforms to restore democratic accountability:
01. Ban Post-Retirement Rewards for CJIs If the CJP comes to power, no Chief Justice of India shall be granted a Rajya Sabha seat or any other government position as a post-retirement reward. This measure is designed to completely safeguard judicial independence.
02. Arrest the CEC Under UAPA for Deleted Votes If any legitimate citizen's vote is deleted, whether in a CJP or opposition-ruled state, the Chief Election Commissioner shall be arrested under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), as denying voting rights is no less than terrorism.
03. 50% Women's Representation in Parliament and Cabinet Women shall receive an immediate 50% reservation, rather than 33%, without expanding the size of Parliament. Additionally, exactly half of all Cabinet and Ministry positions must be reserved for women.
04. Cancel Corporate Media Licences All media houses owned by conglomerates like Ambani and Adani shall have their licences cancelled immediately to clear the path for truly independent, citizen-led journalism. Furthermore, the bank accounts of prominent "Godi media" anchors shall be thoroughly investigated.
05. 20-Year Ban for Political Turncoats Any Member of Parliament (MP) or Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) who defects from the political party under which they were elected to another party shall be barred from contesting elections and from holding any public office for a period of 20 years.
ARE YOU ELIGIBLE TO JOIN? MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Unlike conventional political fronts, the Cockroach Janta Party does not check religion, caste, gender, or bank accounts. Membership is completely free, lifelong, and revocable only by the member themselves. There are no registration fees, no selfies with the leader, and no "missed calls to register." However, applicant members must meet four (4) strict standards:
REQ / 01. Unemployed Applicants must be unemployed either by force, by choice, or by principle. The CJP does not ask for explanations.
REQ / 02. Lazy This applies physically only. The CJP welcomes those whose physical activity is low, even as the brain continues to spiral and think.
REQ / 03. Chronically Online A strict minimum of 11 hours of screen time a day, including routine bathroom breaks and doomscrolling.
REQ / 04. Can Rant Professionally The applicant must possess a proven track record of online venting, provided the content is sharp, honest, and targeted at things that actually matter.
