Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has come out in strong support of the CJP and student protesters, demanding that the BJP government step down.

# 'Step Down With Dignity': Akhilesh Yadav Backs the Student Protests

New Delhi: In a major political boost to the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) movement, Samajwadi Party President and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has issued a scathing attack on the ruling government's handling of the student protests.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Yadav expressed deep solidarity with the youth protesting across the country over the NEET paper leaks and systemic corruption in the education sector.

A Scathing Indictment

Reacting to the heavy police barricading and the forcible removal of activist Sonam Wangchuk from Jantar Mantar, Yadav tweeted:

*"Instead of removing protesters across the country, it would be better if the BJP government itself steps down with dignity. If BJP members and their allies had read history or participated in the freedom movement, they would know that when public power becomes disillusioned... "*

His tweet reflects the growing anger among the opposition ranks over the Delhi Police's treatment of the youth, who have faced lathi charges and detentions in recent days.

'Children Are Teaching the Government'

In another tweet, the Samajwadi Party Chief noted that the government has failed so entirely that "Now, even children are teaching the failed BJP government lessons in the responsible language and speech of governance and administration. The people of the country were never this despairing and disheartened even before independence."

Yadav's vocal support adds significant political weight to the 'Demand for PM's Resignation' march, signaling that the entire INDIA bloc is rallying behind the CJP's 5-point manifesto.
