# Abhijeet Dipke Detained Amidst Massive 'Demand for PM's Resignation' March

New Delhi: Tension erupted in the capital early this morning as the Delhi Police cracked down on the Cockroach Janta Party's highly anticipated "Demand for PM's Resignation" march.

Founder Abhijeet Dipke, along with several key youth leaders of the movement, was detained and taken to an undisclosed location. The march, which aimed to reach the Parliament to demand the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the immediate abolition of the NTA, was met with heavy barricading and rapid deployment of riot police.

Water Cannons and Lathi Charge

Eyewitnesses report that peaceful protesters were met with water cannons and tear gas near India Gate, sparking outrage on social media.

"We were marching peacefully. The government is afraid of the youth. They can detain Abhijeet, but they cannot detain an idea," shouted one protester as they were hauled into a police van.

The Movement Grows

Despite the arrests, the hashtag #FreeAbhijeetDipke has already crossed 2 million posts on X (formerly Twitter) within hours. Sonam Wangchuk, who is on his 17th day of a hunger strike, condemned the police action in a recorded video message from his protest site.

The CJP's core committee has urged all supporters across India to hold peaceful demonstrations in their respective cities until Abhijeet Dipke and other detained activists are released unconditionally.
